Junior Consultant / Business Analyst – Lean Manufacturing (m/f)
Razor-sharp in analysis, creative in concept, and hands-on in implementation
Location
Based at the head office in Shanghai. Willingness for domestic and international travel is required
Organization
Reporting to the Director of the Lean Manufacturing Business Unit
Language ability
- Fluent in Mandarin and English – oral and written
- German language skills are a plus
Education
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or manufacturing related field
Professional Experience
Experience in automotive industry (OEM or Tier 1) preferred:
- 2 -3 years of practical experience in Industrial Enginnering (IE)
- International experience will be a plus
Qualifications / competences / skills
- Knowledge of the Toyota Production System, Lean transformation and the facilitation of workshops is a must
- Familiar with methods like Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VA/VE), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Design and set-up of assembly/manufacturing cells, Quick Changeover (SMED)
Management & Soft Skills
- Willingness to teach, manage and instruct client team
- Strong Willingness to learn & able to work in teams
- Good presentation and workshop facilitation skills
Responsibilities
- Data analysis and creating reports and training documents
- Analysis of production processes
- Conducting dedicated training events with the Staufen Lean Academy
- Preparation, composition and delivery of Staufen workshop documentation
- Implementation of lean tools at the clients site
