Why attend this workshop?
Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning continuous improvement, which is the key element of the Lean Management concept, deciding on the success of implementation actions taken. Implementing Lean Manufacturing is a venture that requires time and consequence in acting. Companies that have succeeded in this understood that LM is more than tools - it is a total redefining method of action through continuous improvement - Kaizen.
Aim and expected results of workshops
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize participants with:

- tools and methods used for identifying and solving problems,
- rules of organizing a system of employee suggestions (defining roles and
responsibilities),
- the system of motivating employees,
- tools of appropriate communication,
- tools and methods used in the process of implementing changes and
maintaining them (among others PDCA, A3 Report).
After completing the workshop, participants will understand the idea of Kaizen and gain skills in developing goals for building a Kaizen system on two levels:
- flow level (improving at the level of the Value Stream),
- process level (improving particular positions, employees).
Target group
The workshops are particularly targeted at:
- employees responsible for: production management, quality management,
the process of continuous improvement, remaining supporting areas,
- senior management representatives,
- middle management representatives.
Workshop program
1. Introduction to workshops.
2. Kaizen Value Stream, Kaizen process.
3. Planning changes:
> organization and definition of resources,
> creating a schedule,
> defining methods of monitoring work progress.
4. Implementation:
> implementing small improvements at the level of employment positions,
> Kaizen Workshops – Kaizen teamwork. Implementing changes at the process level,
> implementing interdisciplinary, interdepartmental projects.
Implementing changes at the level of the Value Stream.
5. Creating a system of employee suggestions.
> motivating,
> formal structure of the system.
6. Maintaining changes
> organization of audits,
> office of promotion of lean manufacturing – organization of the team
supporting changes in the direction of lean manufacturing.
