Why attend this workshop?
The warehouse is a specific place for every company. Quality problems, as well as problems in cooperation with Customers or Suppliers are revealed there.
Effective work of the warehouse, optimally distributed goods, effective use of resources (employees, location, means of transportation) not only influence the effectiveness of the work of the warehouse itself, but also have an impact on our Customers, both internal and external.
Aim and expected results of workshops
The aim of the workshop is to present the rules of organizing the functioning of the warehouse in such a way as to effectively use the resources in assuming an ideal level of customer service in supply processes.
After completing the workshop, its participants will:
- know the role of the warehouse in a lean company,
- be able to identify wastage occurring in the functioning of the warehouse,
- know the basic guidelines for creating a lay-out and distribution
of materials in a new warehouse,
- know the rules of optimal use of already functioning warehouses.
