Policy Deployment (Jap. Hoshin Kanri) is one of the key operations influencing the competitiveness of companies. Skillful connection of business/strategic aims of a company/corporation with tactical and operational aims of every organizational entity is the key for integrating the entire company around one common goal.
Hoshin Kanri is a planning and managing tool used on two levels:
- The level of strategic planning - systematic planning of long-term indicators
- The level of operational management – everyday monitoring of key
operational indicators, reacting to problems occurring and continuous
improvement
