Poka Yoke – Mistake Proofing

Poka-Yoke means mistake proofing or error-proofing. The goal of Poka Yoke is to avoid any mistakes in the process resulting in assembly of wrong parts, forget to put any components to the product, and so on. Poka Yoke offers a bunch of method and tools to realize this goals, from color-coding to photocells checking sequence of the process and stopping it in the case of any mistake.
