PDCA – Plan-Do-Check-Act Method


Why attend this workshop?

PDCA is not only a method of solving problems, but it is also a key part of the company's culture, acting in accordance with modern rules of running production or service activities. PDCA is an executive element of management through quality. Without understanding and introducing the method of the approach to solving problems, companies cannot speak about introducing the philosophy of the quality approach in its functioning.
During classes, participants will learn what PDCA is and how it should be used. They will thoroughly understand the essence of each of the stages.
The basic tools for analyzing data and A3 documents will also be presented.

Aim and expected results of workshops

The aim of the workshop is:
 - to pass on knowledge about the PDCA cycle,
 - to understand key elements of the cycle,
 - to understand the role and place of PDCA in an organization,
 - to remind the basic mathematic and statistical tools in the analysis of data,
 - learning the A3 document.

2. PDCA (background introduction).
3. Role of continuous improvement in the company (TOYOTA WAY).
4. Short description of PDCA stages.
5. Proportions of stages.
6. PDCA stages:
- PLAN (background & aim, TOOL BOX analysis, assisting resources and methods of their assessment, plan, nemawash)
- DO (supervision over the plan, PDCA & Kaizen)
- CHECK : B&A
- ACT (standardization & Yokoten).
7. Summary of stages.
8. Role of PDCA in quality management.
9. Standardization documentation of PDCA (“A3”).
10. Summary of workshops.
