One-piece-flow – organization of sockets and lines with continuous flow
Why attend this workshop?
During the workshop issues of creating effective production sockets or production lines will be presented on the basis of the continuous flow rule, which is the basis of the Just-in-time system.
Continuous Flow, that is processing and supplying goods in a small, fixed amount, paving the way towards lot size “1” is a method for improving quality, reducing realization time of orders and decreasing costs of functioning. Benefits achieved thanks to the implementation of continuous flow are:
- short realization time of orders,
- immediate identification of quality problems,
- improved communication between operations,
- higher productivity.
Aim and expected results of workshops
The aim of the workshop is to present the idea of continuous flow and provide participants with the necessary knowledge on effective creating of material flow on the basis of continuous flow.
By way of examples, photos, case study and practical classes, the participants will learn how to:
- identify and measure elements of work,
- distribute these elements among employees in relation to tact time,
- balance the work of operators,
- arrange spatial layout of lines and sockets,
- react to changes in demand,
- maintain changes through regular audits.
Target group
The workshops are particularly targeted at:
- employees responsible for: production management, the process of
continuous improvement, shopping, orders, planning processes.
