Value Stream Mapping - analysis of material and information flow

Why attend this workshop?

The concept of Lean Manufacturing (LM) concentrates on the elimination of wastage existing in processes (production and non-production) in order to supply the customer with the expected value of the highest quality, in the shortest time and lowest costs. If the company is only beginning its reorganization, in accordance with the LM concept, it is essential to analyze the system comprehensively in the scope of material and information flow, as well as identification of sources of wastage and limitations.

The tool used for this is Value Stream Mapping (VSM). It allows to see problematic areas, at the same time not hiding the needs the entire company and dependencies existing in it. VSM allows to identify what is most important – customer expectations. Value Stream Mapping will help you to achieve success on the way to excellent processes in the spirit of Lean Manufacturing. The increase in productivity, on-time deliveries, efficiency and flexibility, at the same time reducing reserves and times of the process.
