They themselves were managers and executives for many years, and they of all people understand the tasks which their

participants and coachees face. Instead of teaching vague theory, they all offer valuable and tried-and-true experience for a practical approach to everyday work life. And they do so in a agreeably authentic and approachable way. You’ll see: learning from them is a pleasure.

Carsten Schaede holds a Master´s degree in mechanical and process engineering from the technical university of Darmstadt. He is a research associate at the institute for production management, technology and machine tools (PTW) since 2014 and Lean trainer at the center for industrial productivity (CiP). Since 2010 his work is focused on lean manufacturing of customer specific products. In the research group “Lean processes for machining” his projects and research concentrates on digital work preparation for machining processes of high mix low volume products.
 Florian Schercher

After studying business administration at the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences with a focus on controlling and logistics, Florian Schercher worked for 3 years as a research associate and developed concepts for integrated financial planning and their implementation in companies. Subsequently, he worked at the Wintergerst Societät für Unternehmer-Beratung GmbH, where he most recently worked on various restructuring and rehabilitation projects as a Senior Consultant. Within the scope of these activities, he gained a solid, cross-industry restructuring practice. Since 2015, Florian Schercher has been an associate at Staufen AG.
Marco Schicker gained practical experience at Hilti AG in various areas such as development, purchasing, production and project management after studying economics in Germany and Hong Kong. As a member of the factory management, he was responsible for the development of the control center for machining and assembly in the Lean area. In addition to the classic Lean tools, he focuses on strategy development and implementation. As a trained and experienced organization developer, he takes care of clients in their holistic implementation by taking into account process and cultural changes from the very beginning.

Sebastian Schiemenz begann 2009 sein Studium im Bereich Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen Fachrichtung General Management. Seine ersten beruflichen Erfahrungen sammelte er während dem Studium im Bereich Projektmanagement bei der Daimler AG (Entwicklung).
Seine Bachelorthesis absolvierte er in einem Stuttgarter Beratungsunternehmen, bei der er gleichzeitig erste Praxiserfahrung als Berater sammeln konnte. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss wurde er Unternehmensberater im Bereich Lean Management und absolvierte diverse Weiterbildungen in den Bereichen Wertstromanalyse, Rüsten, Problemlösungstechniken, 5S, Projektmanagement und Scrum. Er arbeitete in Projektteams und als Projektverantwortlicher in mittelständischen Unternehmen aus dem metallverarbeiteten Gewerbe und Maschinenbau. Die Mitarbeiter auf den Weg zur Lean Transformation mitzunehmen und Hilfestellung zur eigenen Steigerung des Lean Reifegrades zu geben, stand neben einer wertstromorientierten Prozessgestaltung immer im Vordergrund. Im Januar 2017 suchte er eine neue Herausforderung und begann seine Tätigkeit als Lean Manager bei der ELESTA GmbH in der er noch intensiver die Lean Kultur / Lean Transformation des Unternehmens prägen kann.
 Andreas Schillinger

Andreas Schillinger has been working in Lean Management since 2005. His career began with the roll-out of fischer ProzessSystems at the factory in Buenos Aires. After his time in Argentina, he supported the plant in Auburn Hills, USA with the optimization of assembly, logistics and toolmaking. From 2006 to 2011, he was responsible for internal process improvement in the fastening systems sector in Germany. The main focus of the project was the implementation of Lean methods in cold forming, plastics processing and assembly, including the restructuring of internal logistics. In 2011, he took over the Lean Management of voestalpine Stampec GmbH in the Nagold and Böhmenkirch plants with the creation and introduction of an internal production system, an increase in the OEE (in particular through set-up optimization), a reorganization of the assembly and the organization of the company proposal. Andreas Schillinger has been an associate at Staufen AG since 2014.
Dr. Jochen Schlick, born in 1974, is Senior Partner and Co-Founder of STAUFEN.DIGITAL GmbH. After his diploma in mechanical engineering, he promoted in production engineering. He has dense expertise in the identification and implementation of Industry 4.0 as well as application in logistics, production and maintenance. He systematically develops digitally enhanced products and matching business models. As Project Manager, he took over the management of international development and transformation projects. He hab been Head of the future cyber-physical systems at WITTENSTEIN SE and Deputy Head of "Innovative Factory Systems" at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH).
 Thomas Schlösser

Thomas Schlösser is a Lean production specialist from the ground up. After a practical apprenticeship as a machinist and his engineering studies, he worked for 2 years as a consultant for factory planning. His shift to industry brought him basic experience in the application of all Lean methods in practice. He first worked as production manager and was later responsible for 4 production sites as plant manager. Under his lead, a cross-site production system was introduced, planning projects were carried out for the grouping of plants and the restructuring of the factories. Most recently he implemented the "breathing production" into his plants. During his practice, Thomas Schlösser successfully completed a multi-week expert training course at Kawasaki in the USA. As production Managing Director, he realized the necessary prerequisites for a strategically planned growth. In the first phase, he improved the process stability and indirect production performance with Shop Floor Management and established a lean culture in parallel.  Timo Schmelzle

After his practical training as a metal builder, Timo Schmelzle was responsible for numerous implementation projects. At Stahlbau Buck GmbH, he gained experience in machining, metalworking and the installation of complex assemblies. While studying at Esslingen and Reutlingen, he was employed by Max Holder, where he was responsible for several standardization projects. Timo Schmelzle supports the Staufen AG value creation excellence team as an associate. His main areas of consultancy are the development of low-occupancy workstations, the optimization of logistical processes and the holistic planning of lean factories. Timo Schmelzle has been a consultant to Staufen AG since the beginning of 2013 and has been involved in Lean projects in the area of production and logistics.
Urs Schmitter has been working as a logistics specialist at SFS unimarket for more than 20 years. The company is a leading partner for fastening systems, tools, architectural hardware and innovative logistics solutions in Switzerland. As Head of Key Account Management he is responsible for an active growth and individual customer care. The main focus of his work is to develop and implement new strategies for the support of the Key Accounts. With the new industry 4.0 solutions named "M2M by SFS" the company enables its partners to set up an automatized and digitalized C-parts management.

Dr. Wolfgang Schneiderheinze Wolfgang is trainer, coach and published author in the fields of communication and situational leadership. He has a PhD in mathematics and teaches his self-developed concept PEC – practical emotional competence throughout Germany and German-speaking countries. Since 2010, he provides seminars and lectures at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and Technical University Darmstadt in English and German. Prior to his trainer career he worked as a manager in sales and service for international renowned companies in Germany.
 Gunter Schöller

After his apprenticeship and studies, Gunter Schöller has gained extensive experience in the realignment of the processes and their IT support in training and service areas in management functions. In addition to managing large and heterogeneous teams, he was able to successfully apply the principles of GPO and Lean. This formed the basis for long-term consulting activities at Management Partner GmbH. At two large regional banks, he successfully managed institutes by optimizing processes in the asset and liability business, IT migrations, the implementation of models of the associations and the concept of branch and media distribution. Lean projects in the sectors trade fairs, housing industry, industry and defense as well as interim management complete his profile. Gunter Schöller has been a Senior Expert at Staufen AG since 2015.
Peter Schorle has been working as consultant and coach in the WIEPROconsulting department of SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG since 2008. He is responsible for projects in the large transmission plant as well as electronics manufacturing and logistics in the Bruchsal plants. Earlier, Peter Schorle had been responsible for work management and the implementation of the continuous improvement process at Siemens in Bruchsal, where he gained extensive experience in the restructuring of the entire assembly and quality control sector in electronics manufacturing.
 Christian Schurr
Christian Schurr has been able to gather experiences in using lean methods by working in restructuring projects. Due to his training as LeanAgent at MTU, he has become an expert in lean topics. He was responsible, as coach and subproject manager, in several projects of the production system at L‘Orange. During his time as deputy head of the department Christian Schurr implemented shop floor management, whereby his cost center was managed on the basis of, inter alia, performance figures.
With his team he built several U-cells and optimized the assembly to a lean flow production.
Since 2017, Christian Schurr is a consultant in the production and logistics team at Staufen AG.
 Alexander Schurr

Current and future trainings of this trainer

As overall project manager at DB Station & Service AG, Alexander Schurr was responsible for the IT pioneering project for the optimization of passenger information. He then worked at ZERNA PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GmbH as a project manager for major projects with 500 project participants and a project volume of € 65 million. In his projects, he successfully coordinated numerous specialist trades with very high complexity. This was inter alia. through the application of Lean Construction Management. Cost control was as much a part of his tasks, as the timing and the quality of the project results. Since April 2015, Alexander Schurr has been working as a project manager at Staufen AG for onsite and project management.
 Jan Sibold
After studying business administration with technical focus at the RWTH Aachen, a one-year job at the Delegation Office of the German Economy in Beijing followed. The focus was on the preparation of market studies and the consulting of German SMEs on their way to China. From 2006 to 2014 Jan Sibold was responsible for all technical, business and IT-related topics in the VDMA Baden-Württemberg. The content was the conception and moderation of more than 300 events and workshops for managers from the mechanical and plant engineering sector, with the focus on lean management, innovation management, medium-sized change processes, as well as the expansion of service and new business models. Jan Sibold was responsible for managing the company in Baden-Württemberg. Since 2014 Jan Sibold has been working as a Principal for Staufen AG.
 Kristin Simon
Kristin Simon is working as a consultant in the WIERPROconsulting department at the SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG since 2007. She graduated from the University of Pforzheim with a degree in business administration with the main focus on purchasing and logistics. At WIERPROconsulting she is responsible for realizing change projects at the plant in Bruchsal. She initiates and accompanies the entire change projects on the topics of material flow and information structure, process optimization and layout design. Furthermore she accompanies the market leadership process for development projects of SEW-EURODRIVE.
 Johann Soder

Johann Soder was appointed Executive Director Technology at SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG in October 2007 with responsibility for innovation and production. In his role as production manager, he has from 1995 implemented an innovative electronics plant with state-of-the-art manufacturing and logistics processes, recognised with the Industrial Excellence Award 2000 - "Best Factory" and the TOP award of the German Federal Ministry of Economy in 2004. Johann Soder has been in charge of WIEPRO-consulting since 2001, designing and perfecting business processes across the entire company.
Thomas Spiess has broad experience in precision-, luxury- and consumer goods- as well as textile and fashion industry. Besides his long-standing project management- and leadership experience in global Supply Chain Management, Thomas Spiess also has long-standing experience with challenging global supply chain projects. Amongst others he was responsible for the concept and development of an European duty-free warehouse including improvement of inbound- and outbound transport, relocation of production from Western to Eastern Europe and to Asia with improvement of the production- and sourcing network. Thanks to the large international leadership- and moderation experience Thomas Spiess achieved also cross-cultural excellent results.

 Beata Spitz

Current and future trainings of this trainer

Beata Spitz gained extensive professional experience at the company group Voith. During this time, she was responsible for international tasks in various strategic areas, process-, supply chain and quality management. She developed considerable knowledge in various plant and machinery industries, such as power transmission (automotive and rail), shipbuilding, oil & gas and paper machines. Beata Spitz supports Staufen AG as Project Manager in the Mechanical Engineering business unit.
 Freda von Stackelberg
Freda von Stackelberg is a graduate in industrial engineering with a focus on the areas of production and logistics. During her studies, she already dealt with the Lean subject within the framework of the Lean Hochschulgruppe e.V. She was able to further deepen this knowledge due to her logistics internship at Bosch Rexroth where she implemented BPS into projects. During her diploma thesis at Staufen, she elaborated a theoretical discussion on organization and cooperation. Since 2011, Freda von Stackelberg has been successfully implementing national and international lean transformation projects at the Staufen AG for the design of lean processes and the introduction of Shop Floor Management in various sectors. Within Staufen AG, she is a professional expert for the introduction of the structured problem solution.
 Joachim Steinke

Joachim Steinke is a Lean production specialist with many years of practical experience. After a practical training as a machining mechanic, he was a CNC programmer. After completing his degree as an industrial master, he was responsible for the area of CNC programming at Müller Weingarten. Later he was responsible for the area of cubic processing. After changing to the wine-growing business sector, Joachim Steinke managed complex large-scale projects from pre-planning till the hand over to production. As key account manager at the Komet Group, Joachim Steinke was responsible for major customers in tool-based projects. Since mid-2001, he has been a consultant at Staufen AG. As a principal, he conducts Lean projects with specific requirements for metalworking.
Dr. Peter Stephan, born in 1980, is Senior Partner and Co-Founder of STAUFEN.DIGITAL WORKX GmbH. After his mechanical engineering diploma, he promoted in the area of context adaptive automation. He has dense experience in the implementation of Industry 4.0 use cases in logistics, production planning, maintenance and asset management through international consulting projects in the fields of Smart Factory and Smart Products. He develops digital product features and business models for serial products. Dr. Peter Stephan was deputy head of the future cyber-physical systems at WITTENSTEIN SE and group leader for "Information Management" at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH).

While studying International Marketing with the focus on Asian-Pacific markets at the European Business School, Ole Strachan has worked on a multitude of cross-company projects within the field of technology management. From 2006 on, Ole Strachan worked as a market intelligence manager for the Freudenberg Sealing Technologies / Innovation Strategy. He developed and implemented the FST Trend Model 2020 and led the global roll-out in Europe and North America. Ole Strachan joined Staufen as a project manager in the Lean Innovation and Lean Administration division in 2011.
